Hi, I’m Nicole!
Welcome to Batch of Yum, my little corner of the internet where good food and gathering around the table go hand in hand.
I’m a Culinary Institute of America grad turned corporate girl and home cook. We call North Carolina home but I grew up in an Italian town in New Jersey, surrounded by delicious food, Sunday gravy, really good pizza, and kitchens where there was always something cooking. While I’m not Italian myself, that food culture definitely shaped my love of cooking. These days, I’m cooking for my husband, navigating life as a new mom to our son, and always looking for an excuse to bake something sweet.
Batch of Yum started with me taking pictures of pretty much everything I made. When friends and family started asking for recipes, I realized how much I loved sharing what I made. There’s something so special about making something someone loves enough to want to recreate in their own kitchen.
Here you’ll find the recipes I actually make at home, from fresh pesto to family favorites, baked treats, and dishes worth gathering around the table for.
Everything here is made in my kitchen, tested at my table, and shared with the people I love. I’m so glad you’re here!
Let’s make something good.
